A landing page critique does not need to take an afternoon. In twenty focused minutes, you can find the problems that most affect clarity, trust, and conversion. The trick is to review the page as a visitor, not as the person who knows every design decision behind it. Framer makes this easier because changes can happen directly where the issue appears.

Minute One: Read the Promise

Spend the first minute on the promise. Look only at the opening section and ask whether a new visitor can explain the offer in plain language. If the answer is no, the headline or supporting copy needs work before anything else. A strong page begins by reducing uncertainty immediately.

The Middle Ten Minutes

Use the next ten minutes to follow the journey. Check whether each section answers a new question, whether proof appears before the visitor is asked to commit, and whether the call to action remains visible at the right moments. Look for repeated ideas, weak transitions, and modules that exist only because the template included them. Those are often the easiest improvements.

The Last Scan

End with a practical scan. Test the mobile layout, click the links, read the buttons, and remove one thing that distracts from the goal. The critique should produce a short action list, not a vague feeling that the page could be better. Twenty minutes is enough when attention is disciplined.

A Critique That Leads to Action

A twenty-minute critique succeeds when it ends with decisions, not vague opinions. The page should leave the review with a clearer promise, a cleaner path, and fewer distractions. Framer makes those fixes easier to try immediately, which helps critique become action. Short reviews can be powerful when they stay focused on the visitor’s experience.
